About Me
- Name: Jobs for Afghans
- Location: Cambridge, MA
Jobs for Afghans was founded in 2008 by Ralph Lopez and Najim Dost to work for Afghan economic self-determination, a struggle in which the vast majority of Afghans in the midst of the U.S. occupation still struggle daily for their next meal. Jobs for Afghan supports strong contracts which favor Afghan workers in the extraction of mineral resources, and strong worker training and skills-building programs. Najim is a PhD candidate at University of Colorado and holds a Master's degree in Government from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard. Ralph has a degree in Economics and Political Science from Yale University.
